Have you tried SquareHue nail polish subscription box? Its a monthly nail polish subscription box that delivers a unique, curated collection of premium nail polish colors. Subscribers receive a limited edition collection of 3 full size polishes. So glad you do not get any repeats unlike other boxes. Also they donate a portion of their sales to charity, and give each box a theme. Nail polish is “5-Free” clean formula – does not contain formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, camphor or formaldehyde resin. Also cruelty-free, vegan-friendly and proudly made in the USA.
I love the surprise because you do not get to see any sneak peeks unless you have looked online if someone else has received their box ahead of you. Also the box arrives within 10th of every month which is awesome! I have had wonderful experience with my polishes in the past. You can put the subscription on hold and resume anytime which is one of the things I love in Squarehue.
Subscribers receive a limited edition collection of 3 polishes monthly. Full-Size, .5 Oz Nail Polish Bottles. There are no trial-size box fillers, you will discover new and exciting premium colors and the bottles designed for stability and easy color selection.
I did get June’s box which in their 2015 year-long theme was the 1950s decade. Box was curated collections of vibrant pastels! They also include a information card and swatch space for each colors.
Square Hue Polish in Palm Springs 1950 – Bright lime grass green and the formulation is high gloss cream. Love the opacity and this is one color I think I did not have anything similar.
Square Hue Polish in Bel Air 1957 – Baby blue or sky blue, same high gloss cream and super shiny and super pigmented. One that I loved the most.
Square Hue Polish in Sock Hop 1958 – This is straight bubblegum pink, I have couple of pinks with me, so this one did not stand out much but as a set it made so much sense to 1950’s theme. Love the cream formula.
These colors are awesome by themselves, but there can be fabulous nail arts combined with these 3 colors, like tropical inspired. I have no talent in nail arts so I stick with classic!
Final thoughts about the box: I think SquareHue is a great polish-only subscription box, unlike Julep. And these bottles are quite big and will last me quite some time. I like they get on-trend shades and finishes of polishes. I really like the color selection this month too – it’s a great mix of vibrant pastels!
Cost: $14.99 a month
Coupon: Sign up for their newsletter to get a free box deal! Again full sized 3 unique polishes!
