June 2015 IPSY bag review

If you are living in Pacific Northwest you know we do not get our bags until 20th of the month or later. I have given up checking on tracking as it makes me just anxious so when my bag showed up on 11th I was shocked, and worried if it was May bag again! Bag arrived just in time for my weekend trip to Oregon coast, so had a good chance of testing the products. Here are my thoughts on June 2015 bag

Do not forget I am running a giveaway, linked here!!

This month’s theme is Swim into beauty, so the bag is kind of black neoprene material, like a wetsuit. I am assuming it is waterproof but not yet tested.

Smashbox PhotoFinish Foundation Primer : I was glad to try this primer, it works well without any breakouts on me which is usually not the case. It is lightweight and the finish is quite smooth. I really like it because it really does help foundation stay on while still feeling light. Only issue is I don’t always do this step so I forget most of the time!

BioRepublic Skincare Sheet Mask Trio :  I love sheet masks, And I was expecting just one but received all three! Oh! I couldn’t wait and had to try, so my pictures have only 2 but actually you get 3, Cucumber breeze, Aloe Rescue and Green tea detox. As I write today I have used up all 3 and my favorite was Aloe.

JCat Beauty Lipitude Hydrating Lip Stain :  This is pretty big bottle and for some reason I couldn’t find the name of my shade. Had to dig into JCat website to know the name, I think they forgot to include the name in these bottles. The shade I received  LLS115 Blow your Mind.

I really like this color looks like Ipsy sends me the shade every time, but I am glad it did again, cuz I liked it too much. It is a baby version of Wonder lip paint with a much easy doe-foot applicator and added lip gloss. The formula has a minty smell and feels like it keeps my lips moisturized. I applied it very sheer just dabbing few dots on my lips and spreading it with fingers and applied a gloss over it. The color stays on entire day.  I know both colors in Ipsy bag are intense pinks so try this way may be you would like it. On its own it goes on like a super rich intense gloss and isn’t sticky or drying at all. I am motivated to try more colors here.

Glamierre Flat Tip Concealer Brush : Never say no to a brush and you can never have enough of it right? Loved having one more in my collection. Smelled weird at first but after a quick wash it was good to go. I never had a flat duo-fiber synthetic hair brush for concealer so a good chance to try. The bristles are super soft, dense and blends well.

tre’StiQue Color and smudge Shadow crayon (Venetian Gold ) :  Was I the only one to look for a cap in the bag? Till I figured out the cap is what looks like a pencil! One of the favorite discovery in the bag. I really like this little crayon because it glides on and has a very fine powdery finish. Formula is super pigmented soft gold and blends beautifully. Applied on top of Maybelline color tattoo and the result was wonderful. Stays put in my inner tear duct till I remove makeup, so quite surprised by longevity. Also wonderful as quick lid color on its own, just blend with finger and done, quick and easy. It could withstand the heat and humidity in beach as well.

Overall I really liked the variety and have been using all my products. Really got to try new products and slowly some have become my favorites like tre’stique & JCat Lipitude . One of the best bags I have received this year, with 3 full sized products and wonderful mix of variety not the usual eye pencil and nail polish. What did you guys get? Let me know in the comments section 🙂
