Beauteque Destination Beauty: Camping Out Bag Review

Back to one more review from Beauteque. They have a brand new Destination Beauty Collections, a week long promotion featuring bags for different vacation destinations.  With five different destination options each bag has three different products that would be ideal to take on that type of vacation. I was glad to be send Camping Out destination bag for review. Other four options are Staycation, Beach Day, Bonjour Paris and On Safari.

Perfect timing to be receiving these products as I will be going to Whistler to experience Gondola and enjoy the Celebration of light in Vancouver over weekend. This curation was perfect for a getaway from home with best trio of essentials.

Tony Moly Mango Mild Sun Block with SPF50

How cute is the packaging? I think all Korean products have a killing cute packaging along with amazing products. This one smells like a sweet mango and it doesn’t have a white cast. Non oily and lightweight hydrating sun screen and has a SPF of 50+. Comes in a squeezy tube and has a convenient twist-off cap and a small, precision applicator and overall not too bulky to carry. In the swatch below you can see when rubbed in skin is absorbed in skin without greasy feel or white cast.

Aritaum Baby Lips Balm Power Hyaluronic Acid

This moisturizing lip balm didn’t have any fragrance at all and no color. The texture was really solid and hard, a good thing when you are traveling as it doesn’t break or melt off.  This Hyaluronic Acid lip balm feels a lot like my favorite burt’s bees balm, and really does a fantastic job re-hydrating my tired, irritated lips. It feels super smooth and I don’t need to reapply it as often as some of the other balms I have. Plus hyaluronic acid is amazing at drawing moisture to the skin, so my lips feel extra soft and smooth.

Nature Republic Magic Remover for Mascara

If you use the more stubborn kind of makeup, such as waterproof mascara or gel eyeliner which is essential in case of camping or summer in general, you’ll likely have to go for an oil-based makeup remover to get the job done. The ingredients are listed in Korean though, so I can’t verify exactly what’s in this. When you open the cap, it has a stopper to regulate flow of products.

To use, you have to shake the bottle well to mix the oil with the rest of the product before uncapping it and adding some of the makeup remover to a cotton pad. It does not feel greasy but you have to wash face after using. I really felt a squeaky clean face, and removes every bit of makeup on face including waterproof makeup. And no sting! I can understand why this product is now in Camping bag, clean face with minimal water!  You can see the swatches of liquid eyeliner, eye pencils, mascara and bright lipsticks everything was gone in one swipe using the cotton pad soaked with few drops of product.

Overall I loved all the products and they are really unique than I have tested so far and perfectly curated for Camping Out theme. If you love Korean/Asian Beauty then you’ll probably love this bag.

Cost for Camping Out theme bag: $25 ( $35.50 value products)
