Sept & Oct 2015 Ipsy Bag Review

Ahh…its been like forever to write a blog. I have been on vacation for almost a month and half but had some posts scheduled during my absence, so I feel rough at writing now.

Couple of reviews are lined up, before having one more ipsy bag, I would like to have my thoughts out on the September and October ipsy bags.

I am very happy that both these bags were just fabulous. I am now digging into these products but I am so glad with most if not all. Talking about the bags, both are absolutely fun and glam. Like everyone I adore the the Sept glam bag!

Since I will be reviewing both bags together I will put my absolute loves first and then my thoughts on just Ok items. 3 out of 5 in each bag were excellent products!

theBalm Meet Matte Hughes Liquid Lipstick – Committed: Committed shade is perfect for me! Glad ipsy threw a liquid lipstick! The formula has a minty vanilla flavor, and in one coat it gives you a matte finish. I can never have too many liquid lipsticks and I’m very happy with this pinky nude color!

IT Cosmetics Hello Lashes Clinically Proven 5-in-1 MascaraThis mascara goes on without clumping and is easily removable. It is not waterproof, no running, smudging or flaking. I especially love the brush, the application wand with the flexible end is awesome for delicate, hard to reach eyelashes.

Lavanila Pure Vanilla Perfume Roller Ball : I had never tried Vanilla perfume before. This is one of the few perfumes I’ve come across that is made with all natural ingredients. It smells exactly like how you would expect – it’s a sweet vanilla scent! Love these tiny roller ball perfumes from Ipsy.

First Aid Beauty-Ultra Repair Cream: I read a review on Nouveau cheap and definitely knew this should be good, so when I received this I was like heck yeah I need you in fall and winter. I keep this cream in my bag and apply it whenever I feel like my hands are getting dried out. I am absolutely obsessed with this cream, and it’s my new grab bag staple. Definitely buying full size soon.

Pixi by Petra Shades of Brow:  Loved having a brow product, which included two brow products and a highlighter. I think blend of both brow powders gives a perfect shade for me. Loved it.

Trestique Mini Matte Lip Crayon – Nantucket Nude:  Trestique always has the cutest products. This one is a super pale nude shade, perfect as a base for more drier dark shades. Always love Trestique as it is travel friendly.

Now to coming to my just ok items, actually some are really usable and I will definitely get good use from these.

Coastal Scents Xpress Line Cosmetic Pencil: This is a basic black eyeliner. Another product I selected not to receive in my beauty profile, but still just one or two duh products in a bag is acceptable.

Ayres Ipsy exclusive Pampas Sunrise Hand Cream : As mentioned with First aid beauty repair cream I can always use hand cream especially with the colder months coming up – my hands tend to get very dry. This is made with a super moisturizing formula and is not greasy at all.

Acure Brightening Facial Scrub: It has tiny beads in it and is gentle on my  skin, I also love that it is made with natural products. Vitamin C serum and moisturizer glided on and absorbed immediately after I used this scrub, definitely a good one.

NYX Love in Rio Ipsy Trio:  Beautiful neutral shades in a trio, just loved looking at it, but was greatly disappointed after swatching, they hardly show up goes to my giveaway pile.
