February 2016 Ipsy Bag Review

I’m a happy girl when I see early Ipsy bag! So glad it arrived early and I have time to play with it before sneak peeks for next month starts, also you should definitely stop by my blog as I’m back posting early sneak peeks which most of you loved along with product details.

I consider a good Ipsy bag when I can use 3-4 products, so this month is a good bag!! Lets check what I got and how I feel about the products.

Josie Maran Cosmetics Highlighter stick : I love this product. Period. This highlighter stick is fantastic! The color is a gorgeous golden champagne. It blends like a dream, and leaves a beautiful natural highlight. With olive skin tone the soft golden shade is quite flattering. I love not needing a special brush, I apply this straight to my face and blend out with my fingers. And thank god this is a good size and will last me for sometime.

Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in I’m Kind of a Big Deal: I love the brand and cruelty-free products but nail polishes don’t impress me.  Drys to a shade slightly darker than the bottle. Shade is pretty, opaque in one coat, takes forever to dry, and mama doesn’t have that time for that.  If you care about cruelty-free then it’s nice, but if you don’t care so much, the crazy dry time isn’t worth it.

Paula Dorf Enhancer baby eyes pencil mini : Mini? This product is teeny tiny! After sharpening twice…gone! But for once I have received a eyeliner that is not blue or black, which I am glad. Nothing special than my regular nude/skintone eyeliners but this is pink toned nude, does what it was supposed to do, and stays in my waterline for good 5 hours.

Dr.Brandt PoreDermabrasion : My skin noticeably feels and looks smoother after using! Feels great upon application and its easy to use. Non-irritating and smells great! I have used it 3 times and no more left 😦 hate when tube is filled with air ( like Lay’s Chips). The price of full size product is a bit high. I may have to ponder about this for a while before purchasing full size. It would be nice to incorporate this into a weekly routine.

Margaret Dabbs London Nail File : This has got to be the most elegant nail file ever! but not enough grit to file much. Cute product if had more of a ‘file’. Ipsy no more tools for me. I..am…done…
