Not long ago I reviewed BOXO coffee subscription and I am back with another review of their July Box. This box has really given me a totally different taste and flavor and couldn’t decide which coffee I liked better, to know more about both the samples in this box keep reading!
BOXO always include a card that talks a little bit about the roasters and I like how the card even shows you recommended brewing methods with the pictures in the left corner, quite helpful.
Press Coffee Roasters – Ethiopia : This coffee is very complex and to be honest I’m still exploring with it but so far I have really like it and the more I drink am liking it even more! Once brewed, the aroma of sweet blueberry was very noticeable. I experienced honey sweetness with hints of blueberry. It was different from what I was expecting but truly delicious. That sweetness was present from start to finish and never turned into unwelcome acidity or bitterness.
Cartel Guatemala – Santa Isabel : I was shocked when I tried my coffee though, it was so flavorful. Nothing like I had experienced in the past. My coffee was delicious, flavorful and clean. When I opened this bag of coffee, I knew it was going to be different than anything else I had tried before. Just the aroma from the beans was unique; it was sweet and fruit-like.The notes are Dark chocolate, cranberry and subtle spice but I could experience chocolate and cranberry but was never able to understand which spice it was! Overall I really loved this unique flavor.
BOXO is a subscription box service for coffee that delivers 2 roasts from two new roasters every month. You can choose from a monthly plan for $28.99 or yearly for $299.99. Your fresh whole beans will arrive within 5 days of roasting. I love this fact because both beans maintained its complex flavors for good two weeks of brewing. Just awesome coffee. Shipping is included! Plans include either 1 lb or 2 lbs of finest whole beans delivered to door steps.
