The Face Shop – Rice Water Bright Cleansing Light Oil Review and Overview of all Drugstore Cleansing Oils

The best oil cleanser!! Let me start off by saying this. I love applying oils on my face and have been doing for years. My very first take to remove makeup was just applying coconut oil and I think thats the best and cheapest cleansing oil but I have come a little far in the game by trying every drugstore option available and never was so impressed as my oldie plain coconut oil. I’ve been hooked with oil cleansers for quite some time so my list of trial is long. Before I review The Face Shop – Rice Water Bright Cleansing Light Oil I want to give you a quick overview of every product I have already tried.

Here are all the products I have tried:
I had not fallen in love with any, tried DHC Cleansing Oil that is quite expensive and hard to find, The Body Shop Camomile cleansing oil did not remove all of my makeup left with slight raccoon eyes, really for that price?? Garnier Clean Cleansing Oil had a oilier texture even after washing face just a no go for me, Neutrogena Ultra Light Cleansing Oil is may be the best one in drugstore which worked well but left my face a little dry or tight after use. Sephora supreme cleansing oil similar to Neutrogena , when Simple Cleansing Oil came to market I was super excited but it disappointed very badly for not able to use on eyes or remove eye makeup and lastly Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing oil which was just perfect in every way just that I could feel my eyes sting while washing face and also it was expensive compared to drugstore oil cleansers and not to forget all my concoction of DIY cleansers that I tried to suit my skin type. One last drugstore cleanser that I have not tried yet is the Palmer’s Cocoa butter cleansing oil.

Now having tried all these, Which brings us to this cleansing oil gem that I got from Amazon :The Face Shop – Rice Water Bright Cleansing Light Oil

I have combination skin, dry on the cheek and normal to oily on the T-Zone. It does not dry up my cheek nor it makes my T-Zone oily, it just balance both. As for the cleaning power, I give this 2 thumbs up seriously stubborn waterproof mascara can be easily removed let alone foundation on the face even the thick full coverage one. It is an essential part of my night beauty routine.
I start my night time routine with dry hand and dry “dirty or makeup” face, I use at least 2 pumps of oil warm it up by rubbing the hands and massage my face with oil, focus on the eyes area, where the make up is more stubborn, I rinse my face with warm water and continue with a facial cleanser. When I do not have any heavy makeup on then I just rinse my face with warm water and I am off to my ACV toner or Thayers Toner whichever I feel like (both reviewed on blog) . My face is clean and soft, and oh the rice extract in it also can brighten your skin a little. If you have tried this cleanser or any other cleanser that you recommend please write in the comments below I would love to try them!
