Skin Food Peach Sake Emulsion Review

Another Korean Skin Care review for you all! I have been addicted trying new items from K-beauty and I wanted to understand what is “Emulsion” and how different it was from serum and moisturizer! Fair question if you have never tried one, I will try to answer everything here. The reason I purchased this Emulsion in specific  was the packaging and art work drew me! An emulsion is like a moisturizer but slightly more watery. In general, they’re a lighter moisturizing step than creams and targeted at normal-to-oily complexions.  The tiniest bit goes a long way and absorbs well in skin. Some days I have applied dual layer and haven’t noticed any piling. In summer months I could easily skip moisturizer if needed.

I apply right after toner & serum sets in, to feed the face with some moisture. I love the light, peachy scent and how it really feels like my skin is being nourished, rather than leaving a heavy residue. This product makes me feel moisturized and shrink my pores. I cannot stop trying Korean products and not everything is a hit or works for my skin but this one is exceptional.  I have normal to combination and I’m really noticing the benefits of emulsions plus less noticeable pores.

The only complain I have with this product is that the fancy bottle it comes in has no pump or tube or any logical way of removing the cream, except to turn it upside-down and smack the bottle into your hand. This was frustrating at first, although it might be designed that way to prevent taking too much at once, since you don’t need more than a tiny dollop to cover your entire face. I have been using it for 4 months straight and I think I will get another month use atleast, and I use it everyday twice!

I purchased this on Ulta’s website ($15). You can also get it on Amazon ($12) but it takes a while to ship from Korea, so I preferred to get from Ulta. If you have extremely oily skin and huge pores definitely give this a try, you mi

Now as I said I have been using it for 4 months and I might get another month use of this product, and will I repurchase? No, the reason I need to try a lot more K-beauty products and I do not want to miss out on any!! If you have any recommendations for better emulsions, please leave a comment below I would love to put to test!
