January 2017 Ipsy Bag Review

What a start to the year with a amazing Ipsy bag. I loved every product in my bag and I had some products with my points so I was so happy to see everything in my bag!

Manna Kadar Cosmetics Paradise Blush: Very very pigmented. Took me by surprise the first time I used it, but that means a little goes a long way! The color is gorgeous, and it blends well. Its too pink with shimmer for my taste but I have been loving as a eyeshadow more. But the packaging is horrible, I will depot it soon.

pur~lisse Blue Lotus Seed 5-in-1 mud mask + exfoliant : Love getting any kind of masks, so this was great with all natural ingredients. It gently exfoliated my skin but it did tingle my skin a lot for initial 30 seconds but then it left my skin nice and soft and brighter! Compared to regular mud masks this has a exfoliant which is nice, I rub with little water to exfoliate before removing the mask. Keep it coming Ipsy! I don’t mind a mask in my bag every month.

TEMPTU Base Smooth & Matte Primer: Nice product but smells odd, it has a nice moisturizing effect too apart from making skin smooth and matte. I wish we had got a bigger sample, I can get a week’s use of this. Lately I have got enough primer samples that I’m using them as I’m getting, I do not need to save any more for travel 😛

theBalm Cosmetics Bahama Mama: As much I loved getting this, after opening it I was disappointed. I cannot use this as bronzer as my brush don’t fit and I’m using it as a eyeshadow. Now as I’m writing I’m thinking I should struggle and try to use this as bronzer and hit pan or clean it up! We all love the feeling when we finish a makeup product, right?

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination™ Anti-Aging Concealer: I’m the only one who does not know to blend IT cosmetics concealer, I’m sure about it. I’m so used to watery or liquid concealers that its so hard when I need to take from a squeezy tube and blend in brush. This stuff is amazing and very thick, and a little goes a very long way. I tried it and failed as I used too much such that  I could blend this as a foundation on my face. As much as I want to love, I want these concealers in liquid form, anyone with me??

How was your Ipsy bag?? What products did you get? Let me know in the comments section.

  1. I also got the manna kadar blush and the bahama mama bronzer, I completely agree with you about both products! I love the blush, but it took me a good five minutes to get the darn thing open! And the bronzer pan is much to small to be used for anything besides an eyeshadow. I really want to try that it concealer!

    1. Can you believe that I have not closed the blush since I opened it? Its fake closed, I really do not wish to try and open it. I might be so frustrated that I hit with hammer, it will stay like that till I depot! I have seen people rave on this concealer, but I can never make it work:/ too bad you should have got it instead of me!

      1. Absolutely, I also have done my best not to close it. I closed it by accident at one point and I was so frustrated!
Maybe I’ll get it on a future bag! I hope you enjoyed the rest of your products though ☺
