March 2017 Ipsy Bag Review

I got my Ipsy bag so early that my online review has not been activated! It was a pleasant surprise to see my bag early, but who can complain when I can dig into these amazing things and share my thoughts. I loved the concept and the way the youtube video was captured, something different and something that resonates, loved it.

First thing first, I loveeeeddd the bag, its not the usual kind and the quality, material, color everything is cute, pretty and feminine. Loved it than anything in my bag. Now quick rundown of everything I got.

OFRA Cosmetics Peach Blush : I always say I love getting blushes, but this one is not for me. It has a gold sheen, I could hardly see any peach in it, definitely not something I will wear, even as a blush topper or a highlighter. Its too much for me, so a pass and I gave it to my friend as it complemented her skintone better.

City Color Cosmetics Photo Chic Dark Spot Corrector: Again something new in Ipsy bag and I loved that they are adding correctors. This product was too greasy for me and I don’t think it was peachy enough for my panda eyes. My concealer did not sit well on top of it and looked patchy. I will give it couple of more shots with other products but initial trial was not good.

tarte cosmetics tarteist™ quick dry matte lip paint in delish :  Best product in my bag, lovely color, to be honest I have many liquid lipstick in the same shade range but still I know I will get very good use. This does not dry down to completely matte and not too uncomfortable either. I loved it!

Skone Cosmetics Luxe Pro Blending Brush:  My initial reaction was-  a brush again, but after using it I loved it. You can never have enough blending brushes. It is soft, a little too fluffy but works great. I loved the rose gold touch and this is a keeper.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer: I love this brand and I get very good use of every product. I have used this moisturizer in the past and have loved it. I will not open it now but save it in my travel bag. Love getting these work horses in smaller size!

I know this was a very quick overview of my products, but as I said it was a great set of products but some just did not work for me. So what did you get? Did you love them, share your thoughts.
